Framed emptiness

Due to specific boundary conditions the facility center presents itself in two ways, on two levels: above, from the new square area as fluid pavilion structure unlike the lower level, which is perceived as a major building corpus with a dominant institutional character. The design approach is based on the conceptual reuse of the typical archetypal element of loggia which role as a dominant figure of the outside appearance. It emphasizes the characteristic of Mediterranean atmosphere: a covered (shaded) breathable outer space, which through precisely defined "arched path" experience the complete multimedia center as a whole.
